Allan Pissarello

Allan founded Plantalya. He writes and edits the guides you read here, from watering and soil basics to the pests and diseases that show up on houseplants, following a documented process and the botanical sources cited at the bottom of each page.

When a reader reports an error, he checks it against the sources and corrects the page. The "updated" date on each article reflects its last revision.

Plantalya's guides are researched from botanical references and horticultural extension resources, then published in 10 languages. How we research, write and correct content is documented in our editorial policy.
