How do I know if the plant is a weed or not?
Plantalya can identify weeds and advise on how to get rid of them. The weed indication info will be displayed on the identification result page if the plant is considered invasive or unwanted.
How can I diagnose my plant with Plantalya?
Use the Diagnose tab and snap a clear photo of the affected leaves. Plantalya returns the most likely cause with care steps.
How do I share my identification with friends?
Every identification result has a share button that generates a link or image you can post anywhere.
Can I use Plantalya offline?
Your saved plants and care schedules are available offline. Identification itself requires a connection for highest accuracy.
Is my information safe?
Plantalya stores data encrypted at rest. We never sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Why does my plant have yellow leaves?
The most common cause is overwatering. Let the top 2 cm of soil dry out between waterings and check drainage. Plantalya can diagnose from a leaf photo.
How often should I water my Monstera?
Every 7–10 days on average, but it depends on your climate. Plantalya computes a personalised schedule based on your city and season.
Are these plants safe for pets?
Every plant page has a Toxicity stat. We flag all plants toxic to cats, dogs, and children clearly.
Can Plantalya identify succulents and cacti?
Yes, over 60 species of succulents and cacti are supported, with care tuned for low-water regimes.
How do I cancel my Premium subscription?
Via the App Store / Google Play subscription settings on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Why is identification wrong sometimes?
Accuracy depends on photo quality, angle, and lighting. Include the full plant in frame when possible, and avoid blurry close-ups. We publish the model confidence score on every result.
Do you support wild plant foraging?
We include edibility and foraging notes where reliable, but always cross-reference with a local expert before ingesting anything identified via an app.
